Over time, and likely due to high footfall and external wear, the original tiles had cracked and fractured—posing a potential safety risk and detracting from the high-end aesthetic of the premises.
Due to the hotel’s commitment to excellence in guest experience, a swift yet meticulous replacement was required. The granite in question was not only heavy and difficult to source in matching quality, but it was also part of a structural setup that included safety posts fixed directly into the stone.
